Every era faces its fractures. Ours is a crisis of empathy.

Pioneering psychiatrist, Alfred Adler, believed the key to mental health and moral goodness was social interest: the courage to care for others as deeply as for ourselves. Soul Metaphors, a documentary film, will revive Adler’s buried insights through modern stories, revealing how our earliest memories, those private metaphors of childhood, can unlock who we are and how we relate to each other.

In partnership with the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology and Creative Visions, Ellen Alderton is raising funding to produce a one-hour documentary film on Alfred Adler.
